The Method develops the capability to read a leader and their context systemically. Decode conflicting motivations, relationship patterns, and organizational mismatches to expose the root causes hiding beneath surface issues.
READ COMPLEXITY SYSTEMICALLYGravitas can’t be scripted. When leadership goals stall, the bottleneck is maturity, not skillset. We leverage adult development and depth psychology to unlock true executive weight.
APPLY ADULT DEVELOPMENT FOR GRAVITASClaristrat faculty has run the rooms you will be coaching into: C-suites, boards, and high-growth organizations. They bring the lived, real-world depth required to command peer-level trust.

3 Developmental arcs
These three arcs structure every coaching engagement to create a time and space for transformation. You live them first.
ARC I — INTENTIONAL AWARENESS · WEEKS 1–41. Foundations of Professional Coaching
The ethical and structural backbone of coaching practice: clarity of agreements, psychological safety, disciplined presence, and session architecture aligned with ICF’s latest competency set.
2. Expanding Awareness
Listening beyond content to emotion, pattern, assumption, tempo, and bias. Developing interpretive discipline without defaulting into boxed judging.
ARC II — DYNAMIC MEANING · WEEKS 5–83. Systemic Meaning-Making
Identifying loops, leverage points, and self-fulfilling narratives across emotional, relational, and organizational layers. Seeing beyond symptoms.
4. Directional Coherence
Facilitating semantic reframing and clarifying a client's North Star as embodied orientation. Visioning that is disciplined, ethical, and systemically grounded.
ARC III — ITERATIVE TRANSFORMATION · WEEKS 9–125. Operational Pathfinding
Detecting coherence gaps between aspirational values and operative behaviors. Designing iterative forward movement that holds under real-world pressure.
6. Organizational Application
Multi-stakeholder contracting, ethical assessment integration and practice foundations: proposals, positioning, and development planning.
The ICF competencies tell you what good coaching looks like. The Method teaches how you can achieve it every time, while guiding senior leaders towards durable solutions which behavioral approaches miss.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSDevelopment
starts with trust
-
Yes. The ACC is the entry credential of the International Coach Federation, the credentialing body recognized across Fortune 500 talent functions, university executive education, and the major corporate coaching procurement frameworks. What matters for senior practice is the combination of credential plus methodology plus the operating credibility of the coach.
The ACC opens the procurement door. The effectiveness of the Claristrat Method™ and the credibility of your senior background close the deal. Many of our students are bringing added coaching capability into rooms where they already have authority. The credential is the formal proof. The work itself is what gets recognized.
-
The program is structured to prepare you to take on senior-level coaching engagements: executive transitions, leadership team development, advisory and board-level conversations.
The combination of the ACC credential, the Claristrat Core Method™, and your existing senior background is designed to support coaching fees in the senior practitioner range.
Graduates also receive the commercial practice foundations — proposals, contracting frameworks, market positioning — needed to set up paid engagements from day one.
-
Most ICF-accredited programs, including those at prestigious Ivy-league universities, teach the performance of ICF core competencies and a generic GROW-like coaching arc, then leave the substantive work to the coach's own intuition. This certifies coaches who don’t know how to read a leader systemically, how to catalyze their maturity to the required level, nor how to tackle contradictory motivations without superficiality or moralizing.
Claristrat, on the other hand, has been designed to teach an evidence-based operating system for this substantive developmental work. It is a coherent integration of adult development theory, depth psychology, complexity theory, systems thinking, neuroscience, the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, conceived for the consequential work senior leaders actually need.
The competencies tell you what good coaching looks like. The Method is how you actually make them work every session.
-
The method is structured around the latest ICF Core Competencies published in 2025. Every asynchronous and live session in the program aligns to the specific competency markers the ICF will measure your coaching expertise upon. Graduates leave with the documented evidence required for their desired ICF application.
-
By design, to ensure maximum trust and pedagogical effectiveness for executive coaching, only other senior leaders and experienced practitioners. Six to eight participants per cohort, admission-gated through a 30-minute strategy session for optimal cohort placement.
We do not run open-enrollment cohorts and do not mix participation levels. If you are admitted, the people sitting next to you in the live sessions will be operating at or near your level. This is one of the structural decisions that allows the program to succeed in its unique experiential peer development category.
-
Yes. Several Claristrat coaches have had their certifications sponsored by their employer through L&D allowance or budget allocation.
The skillsets you will gain through the program can be fully mapped to your organization’s L&D strategy for your role and correspond cleanly to several competencies in the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect framework. We can gladly provide documentation to support an internal business case as needed.
-
The programs are fully online and there are no required in-person components unless otherwise stated. Each cohort meets via live video twice per week and uses the Thinkific® platform for asynchronous learning.
This is deliberate: the program is designed to integrate with the operating reality of a senior leader. For those interested in the experience of travelling and face-to-face exchanges, optional residential intensives are available as accelerators from time to time to graduates and upcoming learners.
-
No prior coaching experience is required. Senior leadership experience is. The Method is taught from foundations and assumes no prior coaching credential.
Existing coaches are welcome and the Method scales to their experience. Note that 20+ years of senior leadership experience are required for every Claristrat program.
